QUALIFICATIONS

Teachers have a minimum of an associate's degree in Early Childhood

Most have bachelor’s in education & have taught in public school systems

Members of the staff have certificaions in CPR & First Aid, Medication Administration Training, and Medication Administration Training - Diabetes
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our staff takes part in ongoing professional development through events with Chesapeake R U Ready, Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters, and webinars and in-house staff training.
TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Each lead teacher is responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans for a developmentally age appropriate and stimulating classroom environment that meets the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social needs of each individual child through exploration and play while showing them that God is in the center of all things.
They build and maintain a partnership based on mutual trust and respect in order to best support the children’s learning and development as well as meeting family needs.
